The Red Hot Chili Peppers and the NFL are set to auction off drummer Chad Smith's drum kit following the band's Superbowl halftime performance on Sunday. The proceeds of the auction will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, an organization that grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. Smith's drum kit is a custom built "Limited Edition" series Pearl set that includes limited edition Sabian cymbals.

Prior to the auction, the kit will be broken into two sets - an AFC kit and an NFC kit. Both the AFC and NFC kits, which each feature their respective conference team logos, will then be auctioned off separately.

Along with the drum kits, three pairs of autographed drum sticks will also be put up for auction. The drum sets and drum sticks will be available to bid on through February 7, 2014.
