Damon Albarn has released "Everyday Robots," the lead single from his upcoming debut solo album of the same name. The video preview, directed by Aitor Throup, gives the viewer a digital portrait of Albarn using CGI software along with brain scans of the Blur fronter.

"We are everyday robots on our phones," Albarn sings on the cut, "in the process of getting home.

Everyday Robots features production from Richard Russell and assists from Brian Eno and Natasha Khan of Bat for Lashes. The LP is due April 29.

"It was very cathartic," Albarn told Rolling Stone of the album. "It's got my name on it and I wrote the songs, but Richard Russell was a fantastic editor and did a lot of the atmospheric stuff, so in a sense it's not entirely my record. It is my narrative, and my voice and my songs.
