Fall Out Boy have revealed that their mini-album recorded with Ryan Adams is set for release on October 14. The release is titled Pax Am Days, a nod to Adams' label Pax Am, and features a collection of punk infused rock tracks.
The mini LP features eight songs and was recorded at Adams' Pax AM studios in Hollywood over two days in July.
Speaking of the release, guitarist Joe Trohman explained:
"People would have expected a bunch of remixes after the album. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but this is not what people expected us to do, and that's exciting and fun, to flip people on their head, so to speak . . . It's like a Black Flag record where it's like, there's very few tracks and everything that's there is what's there."
