Stone Temple Pilots have released a new lyric video for their forthcoming single "Black Heart." The cut is one of their first offerings with new frontman Chester Bennington, who replaced Scott Weiland in the band earlier this year.

Bassist Robert DeLeo recently offered some insight into the dismissal of long time frontman Weiland. He and Bennington sat down with Rolling Stone to dish, saying:

"It was a very difficult decision to terminate the face of your band. But we really didn't have any other choice."

The new single will be featured on their forthcoming EP High Rise, which is due October 7.

High Rise track list:

01. "Out Of Time" 02. "Black Heart" 03. "Same On The Inside" 04. "Cry Cry" 05. "Tomorrow"
