Incubus is currently on an extended hiatus, but guitarist Mike Einziger says the band will definitely release another album someday. Speaking with HitFix, the rocker explained that they are in no rush to return and will only cut new track with the timing is right.

"It's just a matter of time," Einziger told Hit Fix. "We've been a band for 21 years and it's been a long time. At some point, it has to feel new. There has to be a reason to make album [number eight]. We can do it when it feels good to us."

Neither Einziger nor frontman Brandon Boyd have been resting on their laurels in their time off. Einziger recently connected with composer Hans Zimmer for the soundtrack to The Lone Ranger, while Boyd is prepping the release of his record with the new band Sons of the Sea.
