AWOLNATION has confirmed plans to record its sophomore release in Los Angeles. The revelation came via a statement from the band's label, Red Bull Records, which noted that frontman Aaron Bruno and company plan to spend "a three-month stint in Red Bull Studio LA."
The statement added that the album "doesn't have a name yet, but according to staff at Red Bull Records it's expected to be released sometime in the New Year."
Bruno also made recent headlines when he revealed that he was deeply affected by some surprising influences as a teen.
"Nirvana is the band that made me feel like I could pick up my guitar and sing along," he said. "I would play their songs in my bedroom. I did know how to play a couple of chords on guitar, but nothing fancy; just basic guitar."
