Blur and Stone Roses will switch spots for the upcoming second weekend of Coachella Festival. The California festival saw the Roses in the headlining slot last weekend, while Blur played right before.

This weekend, Blur will close out the Friday night portion of the festival, with the Roses opening for them.

The official set time for this Friday's show sees the Stone Roses playing from 9:55-11:05 p.m. and then Blur taking the stage to end the show at 11:35 p.m.

Rumors have circulated that the switch occurred due to a poor turnout for the Stone Roses at the first weekend of the festival. According to NME, a spokesperson for the band said that is not the case, adding that the two UK bands had always planned to alternate headlining slots.

In other scheduling notes for the second weekend of Coachella, Biffy Clyro has dropped off the bill due to illness.
