Jack White has confirmed that he has reconnected with his former band, the Raconteurs. Speaking with Rolling Stone, White explained that his bandmate Brendan Benson recently built a new studio they're putting to use on a new record:
"All the Raconteurs and all the Dead Weather live in Nashville now, so we often go on trips together, because we're all just good pals," White said. "We've recorded some things, too. And [guitarist and co-frontman] Brendan [Benson] and the Raconteurs just built a new studio right in town, so it's a lot of great inspiration going around."
The news comes at a busy time for the tireless White, who recently signed on to serve as this year's Record Store Day ambassador. He also performed live at the recent Grammy awards, where his debut solo release, Blunderbuss, was nominated for Album of the Year.
