Now Fall Out Boy fans don't have to wait so long for the bands' forthcoming album Save Rock And Roll, as the band announced that they are pushing up the release date from May 7 to April 16.

"So when we got this all rolling we didn't expect it to be so crazy," bass player Pete Wentz said in an official statement.

"But we weren't kidding when we said we had the album done - so why wait? It means the world to us the way you have welcomed us back." FOB sure knows how to strike when the iron is hot, as they made the release date announcement after their comeback single "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)" sold 161,000 downloads.
