fun. has announced their upcoming “Most Nights” summer headline tour with very special guests Tegan and Sara.  The Grammy-nominated band’s biggest North American headline trek to date will get underway July 6th at Toronto’s Downsview Park and then travel through mid-September, hitting legendary indoor and outdoor venues including New York City’s Pier 26, Denver’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and The Greek Theatres in Los Angeles and Berkeley.  Tegan and Sara will join fun. on most dates.

A pre-sale for fun. and Tegan and Sara fans will take place from Wednesday, February 6th at 12 PM (venue local time) to Thursday, February 14th at 10 PM (venue local time) via www.ournameisfun.com.  American Express® Cardmembers can also purchase tickets before the general public at that time.  Tickets go on-sale to the general public Friday, February 15th and Saturday, February 16th, depending on venue.

A portion of the ticket sales from the tour will benefit The Ally Coalition, a partnership created by the band and designer Rachel Antonoff devoted to encouraging and inspiring the music, fashion, and entertainment communities to take action in support of LGBTQ equality.  Each tour stop will showcase The Ally Coalition Equality Village, featuring TAC as well as other local and national LGBTQ equality organizations.

In other news, fun.’s album “SOME NIGHTS,” recently reached RIAA platinum certification status for sales in excess of one million.
