Killers guitarist Dave Keuning says he may release a new solo album sometime in the near future. Speaking with ToneDeaf.com, the rocker says he has a deep backlog of songs but hasn't found the right time to release them.

"I have songs that I worked on . . . that I don't know what to do with yet," he told the site. "I can't decide if I want to be on a solo album, or some random side-project."

In the meantime, Keuning will be working with the band to support its most recent release Battle Born, which he says is the most accurate representation of the band's sound yet:

"It took four albums for people to finally understand what we are, because each of the first three albums are a little different from each other and this one ties it all together," he said.
