Tegan and Sara Announce New Headline Tour

Tegan and Sara's new album is creeping closer. Get excited, because this may very well be the best output of twin sisters Quin's thirteen year career. Their seventh studio album,Heartthrob, is set for a January 29threlease on Warner Bros. Records and features the hit single, "Closer."

Heartthrobwas produced mainly by Greg Kurstin, who is the master of polishing up an indie cool sound and taking it to the next level, yet without compromising.Heartthrobmayvery well be the girls' finest work to date and one they're incredibly proud of. Fresh off performances on bothThe Late Show With David LettermanandConan, Tegan and Sara will be performing on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! during their new earlier time slot on January 31st.

Tegan and Sara have been road warriors this year. After putting the finishing touches onHeartthrob, they hit the road with The Black Keys and performed at Austin City Limits, before heading out on a two month UK and US tour with The Killers. They're set to go on their own headlining tour this year, highlighted by shows at NYC's Beacon Theatre later this month.
