Dave Grohl is guest drumming on the upcoming sixth studio album from the Queens of the Stone Age, but he will not be joining them on the road.

Speaking with a New York radio station, the Foo Fighters frontman noted that his other collab with QOTSA's Josh Homme and Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones, Them Crooked Vultures, may plan a tour:

"It was one of the highlights of my life when John Paul Jones said, 'Now I've been in two great bands.' That was a huge deal for me! We've talked about it, I know that someday we'll get back together and do stuff, because we love playing with each other," Grohl said.

Previously speaking with the BBC, Grohl noted that the Queens are the "baddest rock and roll band in the world."
