Muse Named Best Act In The World At Q Awards

Rock band Muse was named Best Act in the World at the the Q magazine music awards on Monday, October 22 in London.

"The key to winning this has been staying together. We're solid as a rock. Thank you," said band member Matt Bellamy.

Kylie Minogue presented the award to the band. Other notable prizes went to Blur for Best Live Act. Bobby Womack won Best Album for The Bravest Man in the Universe. R&B singer Dionne Warwick also attended the festivities, despite suffering a recent ankle injury, to accept the Q Classic Song award for "Walk On By." Keane's "Disconnected" promo was also named the Best Video.
