Soundgarden have posted a sneak peak of the latest track, "By Crooked Steps," from their upcoming album King Animal. The teaser vid, available via YouTube, also features a brief interview with drummer Matt Cameron and singer Chris Cornell.
Cornell describes the new song as "a heavy straightforward rock song." He added that "By Crooked Steps" offers "all of the strange time signatures stuff that Soundgarden's always been known for and . . . [takes] it to another level."
Earlier this year, Soundgarden released "Live To Rise," the band's first new song in 15 years, as part of the soundtrack for the film, Marvel's The Avengers. "Been Away Too Long" was the next track to hit listener's ears earlier this fall.
King Animal, the band's first release in over 15 years, is due on November 13.
