Awolnation have just kicked off their "Never Let Your Fear Decide Your Fate" U.S. tour with Imagine Dragons and indie hip-hop artist Zeale, and tickets are already going quickly with the band selling out shows in advance, literally, coast-to-coast. Tickets are on sale now and fast becoming scarce in remaining cities: www.awolnationmusic.com/events.
Awolnation recently premiered the official music video for the song "Kill Your Heroes," the third single off their debut album Megalithic Symphony (Red Bull Records). The video was first featured on MTV with placements across virtually all their platforms including MTV, MTV2, MTVU, AMTV, MTV.com, Buzzworthy blog, as well as the MTV Music Insider newsletter before becoming the #1 most viewed video at MTV online.
Additionally, after an amazing 3D premiere of "Not Your Fault" on Nintendo 3DS last year, AWOLNATION is bringing the 3D video premiere of "Kill Your Heroes" exclusively to viewers of the Nintendo Video service on Nintendo 3DS. Nintendo 3DS owners who have downloaded the free Nintendo Video application from Nintendo eShop will automatically receive the video when connected to the internet. Since launching in July 2011, Nintendo Video has delivered a variety of premiere and exclusive 3D videos automatically to Nintendo 3DS owners. Previous 3D music video premieres on the service include hits from Foster The People, The Shins and The Black Keys.
"Kill Your Heroes" is the follow up to the two Top 5 Alternative radio hits "Not Your Fault" and the platinum-certified hit "Sail." Alone, "Sail" has sold over 1.5 million downloads with various official and fan videos on YouTube having racked up a combined, and astounding, 66+ million views, and was recently featured in a highly popular BMW ad campaign that launched during the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Led by musical architect and vocalist Aaron Bruno, Awolnation features David Amezcua on bass, keyboardist/guitarist Kenny Carkeet, drummer Hayden Scott and Drew Stewart on guitar. The band's debut album Megalithic Symphonyis currently available in stores and online.
