Following the success of their first independent release after parting with EMI’s Capitol Records, Green River Ordinance (GRO) has forged a path and sound that they’re proud to call their own on Under Fire. The lead single from Under Fire, “Heart of Me,” has seen considerable success in radio currently at #42 on the Hot AC Mediabase chart and climbing. “Dancing Shoes,” a song that has made a return appearance as a bonus track on Under Fire peaked at #6 on The Texas Music chart. GRO is set to embark on a headlining tour, starting September 8 in College Station, TX.
“We left Capitol Records and embarked on this adventure where we funded our own record through Kickstarter,” states frontman Josh Jenkins. “We had this energy behind what we were doing. We felt connected with the people that genuinely care about our band. We're really excited to get back on the road and see so many of the people who have supported us on this album, and thank them in person, and continue that relationship."
