Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. will be back on the road this September, but not the way they've traditionally been touring. After playing the summer festival circuit and spending time at home in Detroit, working in the studio on their forthcoming sophomore album, the guys are ready to embarking on a DJ Tour this week.

"Being in a room with a bunch of sweaty people dancing gives rise to what we can only assume to be a primal emotion, and we are grateful for the opportunity to spend these evenings together with as many exuberant strangers as possible" explains the duo of Josh Epstein and Daniel Zott. "Playing a live concert can be a fantastic exhibition leading to an exceptional high, but DJ'ing for a room full of people allows a level of improvisation and interaction which a stage can sometimes discourage. So we are excited to spend a few weeks away from home doing that. Interacting with all of you. Making each night unique. Gettin' weird."

"When we started this project, we had no plan.  We only had a desire to explore some of our passions in music that we hadn't gotten around to while in our previous bands. It has been an amazing experience to see some of those explorations gain some attention, and to spend the last two years traveling the world and connecting with audiences in whatever way we've been able to dream up. "

Confirmed DEJJ DJ Sets:

09/06     Double Door - Chicago, IL
09/07     The Sett at UW Madison - Madison, WI
09/12     The Blockley - Philadelphia, PA
09/13     U Street Music Hall - Washington, DC
