Jack White says he is debating what to do with leftover songs that didn't make his debut album, Blunderbuss.

"I recorded maybe 25 songs [during the Blunderbuss sessions]," the former White Stripes singer told the U.K.'s MSN Music in a video interview.

"I'm still working on the other ones and these ones that came out on Blunderbuss were just the ones that seemed to fit together right now," he added.

White also revealed that he was "surprised" when the album hit the number one position on the U.K. album chart and number one on the Billboard 200 album chart in its debut week.

"It's always shocking to me . . . because I have no idea exactly what people want to hear or what they'd like to know about or what they can relate to," White said.
