Noel Gallagher has given his blessing for his brother Liam's new band Beady Eye to play old Oasis songs. Beady Eye have reportedly offered up covers of Noel's Oasis classics "Morning Glory" and "Rock N' Roll Star" in recent shows and Noel says he's happy for the royalty payments.

While speaking with NME about his own new band High Flying Birds, Noel said Liam and Beady Eye are welcome to play the songs whenever they like, just as long as they give him proper credit:

"Beady Eye have my permission to play my songs and they should do whatever they like. I say he [Liam] should go around the world, do those songs and fill out the PRS [Performing Right Society] forms," he told the site.
