Slash has achieved his first-ever #1 hit at rock radio as “You’re A Lie” vaults to the #1 spot this week at Active Rock.  The song is the first track from Slash's second solo album Apocalyptic Love, which was released May 22 and entered the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart at #4, marking the top rock debut that week.

This news comes as Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators--Myles Kennedy (vocals), Brent Fitz (drums) and Todd Kerns (bass)--are coming off a successful European trek and getting ready to launch a summer headlining tour July 12 in Portland, OR. Meanwhile, on July 10, Slash will be honored with his own star on the Hollywood Blvd Walk of Fame.

All the songs on the album were written together by Slash and Myles Kennedy.
