Staind is gearing up to release their first official live CD and DVD, Live From Mohegan Sun. The concert was recorded and filmed live in high definition at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Montville, Connecticut on November 25, 2011. The CD will be released July 10th, followed by the DVD and Blu-ray release on August 14th.
Staind pulls out all the stops in their intense and uncompromising sixteen-song performance, with a career-spanning set of hits that includes “Not Again,” “Eyes Wide Open,” “Right Here,” “So Far Away” and the most played rock song of the past decade, “It’s Been Awhile.”
The band’s seventh studio album, the self-titled Staind, debuted #5 on the Billboard Top 200. They are one of only two bands to have a pair of songs in the 20 most played of the year at Active Rock radio. In their 16-year-plus career, Staind has sold over 15 million albums worldwide, and had 9 top 10 singles across multiple formats – with four of those songs hitting #1.
Staind will hit the road this summer as part of the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival, sharing the main stage with Shinedown, Godsmack. Papa Roach and Adelita’s Way.
