Seether will be heading out on the road again this fall. The band will be headlining the appropriately titled Triple Threat Tour with Sick Puppies and Kyng opening. The tour kicks off in mid-September and wraps up in Detroit on October 20. The 27-city trek will make stops in major markets including Boston, Baltimore, Atlanta, and Denver with other dates to be announced soon. Special guests Young Guns will be playing through October 3 and Eye Empire will finish the tour from October 5 through October 20.
Seether has been racking up a series of career milestones for themselves. The South African trio’s latest single “No Resolution” from their Wind-Up Records release, Holding Onto Stings Better Left To Fray, hit #1 at Active Rock marking the first time the band has had 3 consecutive chart topping tracks from the same album. “No Resolution” follows in the footsteps of previous #1 singles, “Country Song” and “Tonight,” and continues the band’s undeniable dominance at the format. “Country Song” spent an amazing 11 weeks at #1 over the course of the year, achieved Gold status for sales of over 500,000 units digitally by the RIAA and was named Active Rock Song of the Year by Billboard. Seether’s next single “Here & Now” is going to impact at Rock radio on June 19th. The band also started The Rise Above Fest, which will take place in Gilford NH on September 3rd at the Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion. The annual festival will raise money in support of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) New Hampshire, a multi-faceted organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of persons of all ages affected by mental illness or serious emotional disorders through education, support and advocacy. Playing alongside Seether, who will be headlining the inaugural event, are fellow rockers Buckcherry, Puddle Of Mudd, Black Stone Cherry and Otherwise.
