Buckcherry have a track, "Wherever I Go," featured on The Avengers Assemble, the soundtrack for the film The Avengers.

On their website, the group previewed the song, saying, "The song was written specifically for the film, and was recorded during the sessions for our upcoming album. Check it out and hope you dig it!"

Other acts featured on the compilation include Rise Against ("Dirt and Roses"), Papa Roach ("Even if I Could"), Bush ("Into the Blue"), Evanescence ("A New Way to Bleed - Photek Remix") and Shinedown ("I'm Alive"). The Avengers Assemble is due May 1; the film hits theatres on May 4.

The band have also posted two online video diaries which track the recording of their sixth studio album. They are set to finish studio work this month before hitting the road on April 21 in San Antonio.
