Former Seether guitarist Troy McLawhorn is rumored to have rejoined Evanescence, who will begin work on their third studio release next week. McLawhorn first joined Evanescence in 2007 following the departure of John LeCompt before joining Seether in 2008.
In addition to Seether, McLawhorn has also played guitar previously for the bands Dark New Day, doubleDrive and Still Rain. His departure from Seether was somewhat of a surprise, stating that he had left to "pursue other interests."
