Days after their debut gigs in Glasgow, Beady Eye has announced that they won't be including any Oasis material in their upcoming setlists.

Beady Eye features several former members of Oasis including singer Liam Gallagher, guitarist Gem Archer and bassist Andy Bell. Absent from the group is key Oasis songwriter Noel Gallagher, brother to Liam.

"It just doesn't seem right to play those songs without Noel there. He wrote most of those classic tunes. That's what Oasis was," said Bell to the Daily Record.

Added Archer, "It's not like we're on the run from the past but it's a time to say, 'Look, this is where we are. It's a great place to be.'"

On March 7, the group announced that they will be performing for the first time in North America this summer, having booked three shows in New York, Chicago and Toronto.
