Jersey rockers My Chemical Romance have always had a flair for the dramatic in their music videos, not to mention for creating elaborate concepts around their albums. The band stays true to these aesthetics in the music video for "Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)," which premiered online today.

To the average viewer, the video is a lot to wrap your head around, but MCR fans may see that the video is just one glimpse into the world that the band is creating with its upcoming album, "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys" (Nov. 22).

MCR swap the "emo" band persona to which its often attached for cartoon colors, fast cars, badass child warriors and ray-guns in "Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)." The band fights evil "draculoids" (those white-masked jerks) in a post-apocalyptic desert in the year 2019. Unfortunately, the members of MCR are not as successful as desert warriors as they are in the music biz.

The clip, which recalls the work of film director Quentin Tarantino, was directed by Roboshobo and the band's flame-haired frontman Gerard Way. It may be set in a futuristic world, but the video possesses a slight 1970s vibe.

The video for "Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)," the first single off "Danger Days," will hit the TV airwaves tonight with a premiere on MTV after "Jersey Shore" at 11pm. "Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)" reached No. 25 on Billboard's Rock Songs chart and No. 12 on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart this week.
