The members of the rock band Parmalee were robbed at gunpoint following a show in Rock Hill South Carolina on September 20th.  The band had just finished playing at The Money, a local bar directly across from Winthrop University, and were in their RV when two suspects, Dytavis Hinton and Demario Burris, entered the vehicle with a handgun demanding money.

Reportedly after being shot at, the band's drummer Scott Thomas, cousin of the band's lead singer Matt Thomas, retrieved his gun and shot at the suspects, striking both and killing Burris. They returned fire, and Scott was shot twice in the stomach. He is currently listed in critical condition at Carolinas Medical Center.

Police seized the weapons used in the shooting, the report states, no charges have been filed pending further investigation.
