Nine Days Announce Anniversary Show

In celebration of the 10 year anniversary of the release of their debut album The Madding Crowd, Nine Days will play a show in New York on July 30th, playing every song from the album.

To be held at The Boulton Center in Bay Shore, NY, The Long Island based band will also play two sets featuring music from their indie releases both pre and post The Madding Crowd.  Tickets for the event will be limited, and are all reserved. ; Tickets can be purchased at The Boulton Center Box Office at www.boultoncenter.org  Tickets go on sale tomorrow (5/27) at noon.

Originally released on May 16, 2000, The Madding Crowd featured the hit singles "Absolutely (Story of a Girl)" and "If I Am", which helped the album achieve Gold stats (500k copies sold) less than a year after its release.  Following the release of The Madding Crowd, Nine Days released three albums So Happily Unsatisfied in 2002. Flying the Corporate Jet in 2003, and Slow Motion Life (Part One) in 2007.

"The Madding Crowd" was their fourth album, first major label release but let's not discredit their older discs. and "So Happily" was shelved by Epic and never released, despite being quite possibly the best powerpop record ever

Spacehog Announces Select Tour Dates

Spacehog will be reuniting to play a select number of tour dates in late September. Marking their first tour in over 8 years, the band is also rumored to be working on a new album. 

 

My Favorite Highway Announce Breakup

In an announcement via the band's website, Virginia based My Favorite Highway announced the band is splitting up. A string of farewell shows is planned for December in the band's hometown.
