Camera Can’t Lie Plan Big Year In 2010
According to lead singer Eric Arjes, Minnesota based band Camera Can’t Lie is planning on releasing their full length major label debut, in mid-2010. According to Arjes, the long awaited album will build on the band’s EP Days & Days which was released last fall.
"Our sound has definitely evolved in the last couple of years, searching to find out who we are as a band," Arjes told Alternative Addiction. "I feel like if someone thinks the EP is safe, they should definitely give the record a shot because we took a lot more chances on it, and I think it paid off."
Arjes says the band wrote over 50 songs for the album, and recorded nearly 20 for the album. The single from the band’s EP, the track Casualty, will also appear on the album in a remixed version.
"It kind of showcases the 90’s influence that we have, and that sound that we are going for," Arjes said of the track.
A full tour is also expected in 2010 in support of the release, something Arjes says is key to their success in the New Year.
"We want to get out and start playing these songs, and start building and winning fans over one at a time."
