Vancouver based band Art Of Dying announced this week that they have inked a major label deal with Reprise Records.  The five-piece rock band fronted by Jonny Hetherington was first featured on Alternative Addiction in 2006, when their single "Get Through This" was a #1 song on the AA Top 20 Chart.  The band has also toured with big name acts like Disturbed and Seether, which helped them ink their deal with Reprise, where they will featured on Disturbed's imprint label Intoxication Records.

"We’ve been fortunate enough over the last two years to get to know Dan Donegan and David Draiman (of Disturbed) as friends, performers, and musicians,” says Hetherington. “We knew that if and when an opportunity ever presented itself with them we would be willing to take it in a heartbeat."

The band is currently in Los Angeles working with producer Howard Benson on their major label debut.  “We are very excited to see how the songs will sound once they've been through the ‘Howard Machine,’” Hetherington says.  The band's Reprise Records debut is expected to be released in 2010.
