Lifehouse has targeted December 8th for the release of their fifth album, entitled "Smoke & Mirrors." The first single from the album, a song called "Halfway Gone," is due out October 27th. The release will be available in both standard, deluxe edition and a two disc deluxe edition with details to be announced in the coming weeks.
According to a post on the band's MySpace page, they spent over a year in the studio working on the album, which marks the first from the band since their 2007 release Who We Are which spawned the hits First Time, Whatever It Takes, and Broken.
