Orginally slated to be out August 11th, the album's release is now slated for an August 25th release.  Recorded at lead singer Matt Scannell’s home studio in Los Angeles, Burning the Days is an album that the band is very proud of.

"[This album] is sonically as good as anything they have ever done," Scannell is quoted saying in the albums official press release.  "We take great pride in this album and hope it will resonate with our fans."

The CD features 12 new tracks, including “Save Me From Myself,” which has already spent 5 weeks atop the AA Top 20, and features legendary Rush drummer Neil Peart. Peart also plays on tracks “Even Now” and “Welcome to the Bottom,” while Grammy Award-winner Richard Marx plays piano on “Here” and produces two of Scannell’s lead vocal tracks.

To support the album’s August 25th release, the band will be doing targeted dates throughout the summer with a national tour in the Fall. For more tour dates visit the band's official website at www.verticalhorizon.com
