The California based band, Radford is officially back in a somewhat modified form as the band has been signed to Universal Records, and plans the release of their new album entitled "Sleepwalker" this fall according to Jonny Mead's post on the Alternative Addiction Message Board.  Jonny himself logged on to message board to set the record straight regarding a multitude of rumors that had been floating around for months regarding the future of this underrated band.  Here's what Jonny had to say:

Hey everyone,

This is Jonny from Radford. I stumbled across this site and felt so bad that I had left you guys hanging.
So here is an update:
Yes the band did break up.
Yes I did an album by myself.
No I didn't move to England.
The new record is called "Sleepwalker" but will stay under the name Radford.

Here is the latest: The first single "Fake A Smile" goes to radio on 10/14 and the album will be in stores 12/9 on Universal Records.

We will have a website up soon at

Email is up now at

Thanks for hanging in there...hope you like the new record!!!

Radford fans can hear the first single "Fake A Smile" right here, exclusively on Alternative Addiction.   Listen   Radford first appeared in 2000 with their self titled RCA records debut.  The album gained a huge underground following, and thought by some to be one of the most overlooked albums of all time.  The band never broke into the mainstream, but is still one of the most talked about bands on Alternative Addiction.
