The mission of the Muscala Chemical Health Clinic in Minneapolis, Minnesota is to provide a so-called transitional living home for families with an alcohol or drug abuse problem. The Sober Living home offers both short-term and long-term care by means of a residential community. This is a four story building, which offers many amenities and services. Services include: on-site case management, peer support groups, life skills counseling, financial assistance, employment and education classes, and referral to local addiction specialists. The transitional living home was opened in September 2021 and is managed by contracted employees of the Sober Living company.

In addition to the above mentioned services, the center offers: assisted living, adult daycare, healthcare clinics, and respite care. A pharmacy is also available for your use. This transition houses offer twenty-four hour medical care and offer a variety of transitional services for families and individuals in crisis. The services are provided by trained staff members and staff who are licensed to administer AEDs (automated external defibrillators). The staff is made up of professionals such as physicians, nurses and a registered nurse, a pharmacy technician and social workers.

The Sober Living Center has received many awards for its services. The clients are fully aware that these services are not for “focusing” somebody back to normal, but rather for achieving sobriety. As soon as someone sets foot into the Sober Living Center they are evaluated thoroughly in order to make sure that the individual is ready for transition. They have a goal of helping each person change their life and get back the life that they lost long ago. There are several treatment options available at the Sober Living Home including: short-term rehab, long-term rehab, recovery program, outpatient services, and transitional living program.
