Disney Fairies are
a great series of movies starring
Tinker Bell that are great for
little kids. The latest movie is
Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure.
When Tinker Bell screws up and
breaks the fall scepter, she has to
find an enchanted mirror on an
island so she can wish for another
moon stone to make another fall
scepter. The movie follows her on
her journey to and through the
island to find the mirror and get
another moon stone.
As with any direct
to home video release, there are
going to be holes in the plot. This
movie doesn't escape that.
Especially if you didn't see the
first Tinker Bell movie. The
characters in this movie aren't bad
though, they're a little
stereotypical but not too bad.
Tinker Bell is Tinker Bell, she's
hot-headed and a fireball. Just like
she was in the Peter Pan movies.
Terrance is her best friend and the
boy who swoons over her but mostly
the two are friends. There are
points in the movie where their
interactions are a little cheesy,
but the relationship is still built
well enough to make it work.
The Blu-Ray combo
pack comes with a DVD and Blu-Ray of
the movie but no digital copy, still
the packaging still makes the Blu-Ray
worth a look.
Tinker Bell and
the Lost Treasure will continue the
release of Disney Fairy movies. They
already have another one coming out
next year. These movies teach
valuable lessons to young kids and
really give them an alternate world
to dive into and learn about. You'd
like to get disenchanted with
something like this because it's
direct to home video, but it's a
good enough movie and a good enough Blu-Ray to where it works and you
really can't care why it's on your
TV, just that it is.
