Pooh’s Heffalump Halloween Movie is in the midst of a slurry of Winnie the Pooh releases that Disney has pushed out this year. The Tigger Movie came earlier this summer and it was packaged well with the movie and then a digital copy of the film. Pooh’s Heffalump Movie sadly doesn’t come bundled with a digital copy, but it does come with a plush toy for the kiddos to enjoy- Pooh in a Tiger costume.  My son latched on to the toy and both of my kids immediately latched on to the movie. Pooh’s Heffalump Movie is a clever tale of Lumpy the Heffalump trying to overcome a fear of Halloween and Roo extending the story by telling how Piglet conquered his fear of the holiday. It’s a good tale that is great for kids aged 2-5. 

The movie itself is one that my family will watch year after year around this time. Now onto the extras… this movie is bundled with several goodies on the disc, but also doubles as a DVD-ROM which proves to be pretty useful with printable activities and games for the kids to enjoy. Overall Pooh’s Heffalump Halloween Movie on DVD is a good value for a kids’ Halloween movie this year. Pick it up while you still can if you have little ones that would enjoy.
