I Heart Jonas
comes to DVD and I can honestly say
this was a terrible idea for a TV
show. There’s just no need for this
talented group of guys to waste
their time with a comedy show. It’s
just not needed. It would be
different if it were written
believably… but it’s not. It’s not
written well and while these guys
are talented musicians and song
writers (Carey Pierce of Jackopierce
can attest to that.) They aren’t
actors. They kind of look like
they’re related to Keanu Reeves…
they act like it too.
Disney’s not
going to push the envelope on an
original series. You’re going to
have cookie-cutter traits for your
characters in an original series.
One of the brothers is overly goofy,
another one overly ‘cool’, and the
third brother is a mix between the
two with the romantic interest. The
show follows the three brothers
through their normal predicaments of
being ‘high school kids’ with girls,
crushes, predicaments and the like.
I Heart Jonas
takes the TV series’ episodes that
center around love and put them on
one DVD for tweens to oogle over.
Most of these episodes center around
a relationship between Joe Jonas and
Stella Malone (Chelsea Staub) where
they can never decide whether they
like each other or not. Basically
the storyline feels like the Disney
Channel version of Friends.
This DVD comes with seven episodes
centering around Disney channel love
and crushes. It has it’s humorous
moments but it also has its moments
where it’s hard to watch. This was
meant for the Jonas fan base
though…. And they will love it.
They’ll also love the three magnets
packaged with the DVD and the short
bonus feature where the guys pull a
prank on
Jordin Sparks.
