Knowing
|
Greg Giraldo is a
tremendous comedian. His standup
tackles his life and his stories
from being on the road, it's all
stuff that's fairly relatable and
his delivery method is unique and
spot on. He's most known for his
work on Comedy Central's roasts but
he's generally a comic on the rise
and "Midlife Vices" is only going to
add to that. Greg busts on
everything, nothing's sacred and he
tells everything like a drunken
truck driver would. He has a couple
of slow parts in his routine towards
the beginning of the middle of the
special but he's still a very funny
guy and this is a good special.
There can't really be a knock to
this because it is what is, and he's
being true to what he does not
tackling a story from his famous
life fifteen years ago. He scores
points for being a real comedian and
he scores even more for a decent
special.
