Microsoft's
version of simulation racing
designed by Turn 10 Studios is an
amazing effort in terms of a
simulation racing game. The graphics
and physics are borderline perfect,
each car is sound specific. And the
career mode is extremely deep and
all around just awesome.
The best thing
about this game is it's
accessibility but at the same time
it's depth. You can upgrade cam
shafts, fuel injection, exhaust
systems, and all kinds of things to
any of the cars that you've
unlocked. You do this by using
experience points. The thought of
upgrading all of these different
elements to a car might seem a
little bit daunting to most so
they've elected to just put a quick
upgrade feature to your upgrades. it
makes it fast and easy to do, or you
can really dig deeper and upgrade
those individual components.
With Forza 3 the
presentation is awesome. The
announcer guy during the menus
really adds a lot to the
presentation and the clean and crisp
look to all of the menus add a lot
too.
Forza Motorsport 3
is a lot like the latest Need for
Speed game, except it's for hardcore
racing game fans. So really the best
advice is if you haven't played a
lot of racing games, start slow and
build yourself up. Forza 3 is a
great experience for the casual
racer but it's also an amazing
experience for the hardcore as well,
and that's a feat in itself.
