Sound: The
sound of these
headphones is good
for some and not so
good for other
genres of music. It
depends on what type
of music you’re
listening to. If you
like rhythmic stuff
with lots bass then
you’ll love these
headphones. The bass
on this set is
tremendous and crisp
and it compares well
against headphones
that go twice, maybe
even three times the
price. The down side
of these headphones
is that while
they’re great for
bass lovers, music
without a lot of
bass doesn’t sound
great. These
headphones take out
a lot of the crunch
out of some guitar
heavy music and they
don’t have a big
impact on songs with
a lot of detail. So
these headphones are
geared to the bass
lover, which a lot
of other iFrogz sets
are. If you’re going
to buy one of these
sets from iFrogz pay
attention to what
they do best, that’s
important.
Comfort:
There’s nothing even
remotely
uncomfortable about
this set of
headphones. I wear a
pair of headphones
for about three
hours every day and
there’s not a pair
that I’ve come
across that’s more
comfortable than
this pair. They’re
lined with soft
material, making
them extremely
comfortable. It
feels like they’re
hugging your ears…
and not in that
weird ex-girlfriend
type of way. Another
key feature is the
size adjustment;
some of us have huge
domes. The Moguls
are easy to adjust
and snap well to
different sizes.
That’s a key feature
because some size
adjustments on
headphones don’t
stick, they slide.
And other headphones
can break because
they’re too hard to
adjust. The Moguls
don’t have either of
those problems and
they’re extremely
comfortable.
Durability:
Not only is the size
adjustment a durable
feature with the
Moguls. The overall
headphones appear to
be durable too.
After a few weeks of
use the material
doesn’t show any
sign of wear and
tear yet. The other
key feature with
durability is the
fold-up feature.
It’s great for
storing them in a
backpack or wherever
else without
breaking.
Look and Design: The
look and the design
of these headphones
are cool. In fact
they’re some of the
coolest looking
headphones on the
market. I can’t say
that I’m crazy about
the maroon and red
colors, but they
black and the white
versions of these
headphones are very
cool.
Overall:
The iFrogz
EarPollution Mogul’s
are a decent pair of
headphones. They’re
unmatched in terms
of comfort and
durability but the
bass is a little too
thick for my
preference. That’s
not to say other
people won’t enjoy
that feature. If you
like 60’s or 70’s
music where bass
amplification is
needed, or if you
listen to a lot of
music with a ton of
bass, then these
headphones are
perfect. If you want
to try and find
something that’s a
little more perfect
for the rock lover,
iFrogz has that too.
Just look and browse
around here.
