Knowing

Delgo is the tale of two different alien races on one planed. The Lockni originally inhabited their planet and the Nohrin people eventually came along and bullied the Lockney and forced them into sharing their planet with them. The evil Sedessa, the Narcni King's sister was in charge of the Narcni living on the planet with the Sedessa but instead of maintaining peace she forced war and killed innocents. She was forced back to their home planet and away from the Lockni world. She was disowned by her brother, and she became angry and tried to kill him and take the thrown.

Years past since Sedessa was banished and the Nohrin fully inhabited the planet with the Lockni. There were tensions on the planet but the two races were living in peace.  Our hero Delgo is a Lockni teenager that builds a relationship with the Nohrin princess, Kyla. When the princess is kidnapped by Sedessa and the Lockni are set up for it, war with the Nohrini seems imminent. It's up to Delgo to save the princess and stop the war.

Delgo's animation is a little irregular. It's like a mixture between older 2D cartoons and the newer 3D computer animated cartoons that we have now. It makes for an interesting look into the world of the Nohrin and the Lockni and it makes for a different viewing experience.

Delgo's cast is a weird bunching of good actors too. Freddie Prinze Jr. is the main character- Delgo. Jennifer Love Hewitt is the princess, Kyla, Louis Gossit Jr. is the Nohrin King, and Chris Kattan is Delgo's best friend Filo. Other actors rounding out the cast include Burt Reynolds, Michael Clarke-Duncan, and Kelly Rippa. It's an interesting cast of actors that provided voices for the movie.

Delgo is an original movie that kids will fall in love with. It takes them to a different world and it's reminiscent to the cartoons that were made a while ago, but with updated animation. It's science fiction blended together with a fairy tale and really it should have done more in the theatre. Still look for this movie and look for children to latch on to it.
