In the first season of a series
people are introduced to characters
and it’s after the first few
episodes… whether a show sinks or
floats… if it floats then a series
can really coast into a finale and
into the second season. The Big Bang
Theory didn’t do that. The first
season was hilarious and it set up a
pretty big challenge for season
number two.
Season two didn’t
disappoint it was full of laughs and
great moments and it was filled with
some classic TV moments period.
Including the obsessive Sheldon
drinking Coffee for the first time
and dressing up like The Flash.
Season Two of The Big Bang Theory
was hilarious. It’s full of great
moments and big laughs and Warner
Bros. just made it available on DVD.
The DVD of the
show is four discs- 23 episodes and
a few features accompanying the
episodes on disc four.
The
bonus feature shorts are kind of
cool. There’s an interview segment
with that physicist advisor behind
the show, there’s a rundown of all
of the characters with the actors
briefly talking about their
characters and then there’s a gag
reel. Not very much in terms of
bonus features but the three
segments along with some commentary
will suffice.
As far as the show
goes- right now it’s the only real
traditional sitcom on TV and it’s in
the upper echelon of what’s on TV
right now. In the midst of reality
TV and eighty different stupid
dramas with acronyms in their names,
The Big Bang Theory is original,
heartfelt, hilarious, and highly
recommended on DVD.
