Sycamore
Meadows Butch Walker
Read Review
Sycamore Meadows was a landmark album for
Butch Walker for a number of reasons. The album marked his
first independent release as a solo artist, it also is lyrically one
of the most personal albums Walker has ever written.
Inspired by the California wildfires which destroyed Walker's entire
house and personal belongings, Walker decided to take a more
personal approach to the record. Sycamore Meadows,
named after the street that Walkers destroyed house resided on, is
easily Walker's most well written album since 2004's Letters.
Already with a handful of beloved albums on his resume, Walker's Sycamore Meadows will be an album that's cherished by
music fans for years to come.
