Released late in 2006, the album may not have
gotten a fair shake at being considered for the best of 2006.
With just one song release off this album, the accolades have yet to
come for this impressive release from Sister Hazel. Expect to
hear a lot more about this album in 2007.

Written over the span of just a few months,
while the band was on tour in support of their last full length
album, One Less Reason managed to put together an amazing collection
of songs. This six song EP is spectacular from start to
finish, and easily captured enough votes to be selected as Album of
the year. Lead singer Cris Brown called this EP
the CD he had 'always wanted to
make,' while that might sound like Brown is going out on a bit of a
limb, one listen to this EP and you’ll know exactly what he’s
talking about. 2007 could hold even more promise for this up
and coming band, as they have planned to release a full length album
in the new year, along with rumors of a possible major label
signing. |
