the most beautifully written records by a female artist we have ever
heard. Higgins heartfelt lyrics and smooth vocals provided one
of the most impressive releases of the year. In our opinion,
it's the album of the year, but in the voters opinion, it lands at

thought this would be the first of many great albums from this up
and coming band. Unfortunately, this will be the only album
ever released from this group, as the band played their last show in

After 2002's disappointing release of "Stanley
Climbfall" it appeared as if Lifehouse would be a flash in the pan.
But in March of this year they released their third album, and
proved that their previous release was nothing more than a sophomore
slump. This album is
overflowing with heartfelt lyrics and strong hooks, all the same
ingredients that made their debut album so successful.
Granted, the overwhelming success of "You and I" helped draw
attention to this album, but this album has so much more to offer.
Add to that a matured sound, lyrically and musically, and you'll
find a band that has soared to new heights. While there are
still a handful of songs on this record that could easily be top 10
hits, we're looking forward to what new music this band has to offer
us in 2006. |
