20 A Revised Everclear Go On Tour
Read Story

2004 was a year of hellos and goodbyes.  We said goodbye to Remy Zero, Athenaeum, EVE 6, Stage, and of course Creed.  Major Record labels said goodbye to Third Eye Blind, Vertical Horizon, The Rising, and many others.  U2 surprisingly said goodbye to over a years worth of work, when it was stolen.  Fuel said goodbye to their drummer, and the world said sadly had to say goodbye to the legendary Johnny Ramone.

But 2004 wasn't all about goodbyes, Everclear and Neve said hello again, after it seemed they would never tour again.  Maroon 5 said hello to big success this year, and the lead singer of Incubus said hello to the police, as did Howie Day.  Staind said hello to the possibility of finding a new name, while Alternative stations all over the country said hello to a format change.  Maverick Records said hello to over 66 Million dollars in debt, while Butch Walker said hello to a new record deal and new life at Epic Records.

As we say goodbye to 2004, we can only wonder what exciting, intriguing, and likely ridiculous things the music world will say hello to in 2005.

Happy New Year!
