Forever the Sickest Kids

After recording six songs with producer David Bendeth, Forever the Sickest Kids decided to scrap their EP release plans of ‘The Weekend’ series and just put out a traditional full album. They did this with good reason, because the new FTSK album is the band’s best yet with several quality tracks. David Bendeth produced half of these songs and Shep Goodman and his associates did the other half, the combined efforts of the two groups are outstanding. The production is never to blame with the shortcoming of a song on the album. Some songs miss badly; namely “King for a Day” and “Forever Girl.” But other songs hit the mark perfectly with Jonathan Cook striking perfectly with stellar vocals and the rest of the band falling in place where they should. Early favorites from the album include “Keep on Bringing Me Down”, “Aliens & Robots”, and “Bipolar Baby!” Forever the Sickest Kids latest full album doesn’t connect as well as it would have two years or even a year ago but there’s plenty to listen to if you’re a fan of the band or just a fan of the genre.
