Jane’s Addiction reunited to perform on Saturday, August 1, for the Lolla2020 livestream, marking the first time the band has played together in three years. This year’s Lollapalooza festival was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic and organizers announced that they would host a livestream event instead of the festival. Frontman and Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Chris Chaney maintained social distance as they performed “I Would For You” and “Stop!” Lolla2020 streamed over 150 performances via YouTube from July 30 to August 2. The virtual festival included live performances from Alison Wonderland, H.E.R., Louis the Child, Yungblud, Kali Uchis, and many others. The event also streamed old classic Lollapalooza performances from Paul McCartney, Outkast, Metallica, LCD Soundsystem, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Lorde, Run the Jewels, and more. Earlier on Thursday, July 30, Farrell also managed to reunite his old band Porno For Pyros for the first time in 24 years for a backyard performance of “Pets” and “Kimberly Austin.” Copyright(c) 2020 RTTNews.com.
