All Time Low recently brought their "A Love Like Tour" through Denver, CO April 17 at the Ogden Theatre. The crowd was a mixed bag of teenagers and twenty somethings looking for an excuse to cut loose and All Time Low gave them just that. The band played a giant set for the show - 23 songs, +90 minutes. The band touched on their entire catalog during the set and was highlighted by the joking commentary between lead singer Alex Gaskarth and guitarist Jack Barakat. The strength of an All Time low show is keeping the energy up and the crowd engaged throughout. They never have to lift up the crowd, as they are always jumping in to sing along to all of the chorus and versus.
Highlights included covering songs from Blink-182 (All The Small
Things) Green Day (American Idiot), and Wheatus (Teenage Dirtbag). The
set concluded with anthem’s “The Reckless and the Brave” and “Dear
Maria, Count Me In”. The two pop punk bands Handguns and Man Overboard
opened the show for the band and they were also outstanding.
